Water Baptism
Water Baptism is a spiritual declaration that we are dead to our old life, and we have risen to a new life in Christ. It is the first command for new Christians to follow, and should be done as soon as possible after believing in Christ.

Life Groups
Life Groups are small groups that meet typically in homes, and are designed to be a more intimate, informal form of church. In the Book of Acts they met “in the temple and from house to house.”
Each group determines its own meeting times, days, and location - we have groups throughout Columbia & Greene Counties. Check out our Life Groups page for more information.
Volunteer Opportunities
RSC has many opportunities for you to serve the body of Christ, the local community, and the world.
Nearly every ministry at RSC is staffed by volunteers - ushers & greeters, children’s workers, worship ministry. We also run a Food Pantry that serves hundreds of families each month. And most years we send a team on a short-term mission trip to various destinations around the world.
*RSC has a six-month waiting period for newcomers before they start to serve in ministry. We want to get to know you, and allow you to get to know us without any added responsibilities. After six months, you are free to explore volunteer opportunities.
