Common Questions

Come as you are. Whatever makes you comfortable. Most people dress casually. A few like to dress up a little. We believe God is far more concerned with what’s in your heart, than what clothes you wear.
-
A typical service consists of prayer, 20-30 minutes of singing, and then a bible-based sermon.
Our worship is contemporary, lively and passionate, and our preaching is inspiring and challenging, and drawn directly from the Bible.

You will find Rock Solid Church to be a warm and friendly place - you’re going to feel like family the moment you walk through the door.
There’s a lot of joy at our church - we know how to have fun, and we love to laugh!
We’re also serious about God, and believe with all of our hearts that Jesus is in our midst and that changes everything!

Absolutely not! We welcome people at all points in their faith journey, including skeptics and doubters! That said, we are unapologetic about our love for Jesus and our commitment to His Kingdom!
-
We have age-specific classes for kids 0-11. Kids stay in service through worship (singing), and then are released to their classes.
Classes include games, songs, snacks, and fun age-appropriate Bible lessons (all mixed with a little bit of chaos).

There is street parking on Union St., there is a nearby municipal parking lot on Warren St. (free on Sundays), and others park at the Courthouse, about two blocks away. We also have a small church parking lot on Cherry Alley. If there’s a spot open, you are welcome to it!

Our sermons are bible-based, Christ-centered and faith-building. We have several pastors on staff who preach regularly, so you will hear a variety of voices. We also have frequent guest preachers from other churches.
-
There is no fee for attending our church 😉, and we do not pass a plate during the service. There are boxes located in the back of the sanctuary for people to place their offering at their discretion.
We believe that giving is an act of worship between the giver and God.
